Typically, these immunization clinics take place in the school setting. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, HPPH will hold community-based clinics to ensure all Grade 7 students can access these important vaccines conveniently and safely.

“We are committed to providing immunizations to all Grade 7 students in Huron and Perth counties, regardless of whether they are attending school in-person or doing virtual learning from home,” says public health nurse Lorna Askes. “It is important for students to remain up-to-date with their immunizations, even during the COVID-19 pandemic.”
