The UK's most tattooed man helped police to track down Watford striker Troy Deeney's stolen £180,000 Lamborghini.

The 'King of Ink Land', otherwise known as Mathew Whelan, 37, called officers when he saw the vehicle outside his secure car park in Birmingham.

He said: 'I called 101 West Midlands Police and reported a suspicious individual by our secure car park and challenged him.

'It was around 15 to 20 minutes when I noticed a police car arrive, then another one and then another three.

'I gave the police my security electronic key so they could gain access and we them found Troy Deeney's stolen Lamborghini.

'We're both Birmingham city fans so I am delighted that it will be returned to him.

'I just hope they catch the people that have committed crimes against someone who I have a lot of respect for, especially his rise from where he has come from to where he is now.'
