Richmond, BC. August 27, 2008 - ZE PowerGroup is pleased to announce the opening of an additional business office located in North Carolina. The new Eastern location provides broader regional presence for the firm and will enhance liaison with ZE's clients and other companies in the area. The opening of the North Carolina location also marks the return of Manal El-Ramly to the ZE team, as she takes on the position of Director, Eastern Markets at the new office. Her business focus will be on cementing ZE's flagship ZEMA Suite as the leading data management and analysis solution for the energy industry.

With a long history in the energy industry, Manal brings considerable knowledge and expertise to her role as Director. In addition to her previous work with ZE, Manal has also held positions with BC Hydro and Pace Global Energy Services. She holds a Masters in Applied Sciences from the University of British Columbia, with a specialty in Mechanical Engineering. Her thesis on probabilistic forecasting, which was also supported by the Economics Department, was the impetus behind ZE's forecasting work during the advent of competitive power markets. During her time away from ZE, Manal leveraged her business skills to assist her husband, Dr. Ahmed Said, in developing a successful state of the art eye care practice in Dunn, NC.

Dr. El-Ramly, the President of ZE, states "we are so happy to have Manal back as an active part of the ZE family.
