Mr. Ferro has designed and built 3D Printers and has created hundreds of models and prototypes for himself and clients.

Mr. Ferro will demonstrate the printing process from model creation and design to the actual printing of 3D Models in the classroom.

The course will review the various 3D Printing technologies and their application in industries such as medicine, jewelry, machine parts and others.

Demonstrations of affordable scanning technologies will show how to go from scan of an object or person to a 3D Printed model.

The course is non-technical, includes a lot of discussion and has been attended by people from wood workers to brain surgeons.
