CHESHIRE, CT, USA, September 21, 2016 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Local professional hypnotist, James M. Vera attended the 2016 National Guild of Hypnotists Convention (www.ngh.net), which was held in Marlborough, MA on August 12th to 14th, 2016. This year’s event marked the 29th time the 66-year-old professional organization held an educational conference and convention. Certified Respiratory Therapist and Consulting Hypnotist James Vera sat for his exam and interview to complete the board certification process and has successfully earned the designation of Board Certified Hypnotist.

Located in Cheshire Connecticut, James M. Vera BCH, CRT sees both local clients and nationwide clients through his Skype and Tele-Hypnosis Programs. Hypnosis works with adults and teens (parental permission required), to help them deal with many of life’s everyday problems, including test taking performance, stopping smoking, improving sports performance, and stress management. James Vera said, “The annual NGH Convention offers the most exciting and comprehensive platform for professional consulting hypnotists to come together to learn, exchange ideas, network and grow. Being part of this conference equipped me with new information that I am so excited to share with my clients”.

National Guild of Hypnotists President, Dr. Dwight Damon added, “Each year, several thousand professional hypnotists convene at the NGH Convention. During the three-day event, more than 300 seminars and workshops are taught, along with the extended-study program we offer in our Pre- and Post-Convention Summer Institute.”

After attending many seminars from experts in the field of hypnosis, Mr. Vera has returned from the convention with more new innovative ideas to help his clients to quit smoking, perform better on exams, excel in sports performance and reduce stress, improving their quality of life.
Considering his background as a Certified Respiratory Therapist James Vera states often times people in the medical community advise their patients to stop smoking without offering them the solutions for how to stop smoking. He will be presenting an experiential seminar “Stop Smoking with Hypnosis” held from 7pm to 9pm at the Hampton Inn in Waterbury, Connecticut on Wednesday October 26th. The Seminar is open to the public (over age 18) and reservations are encouraged as seating is limited. Register at www.stopsmoking.brownpapertickets.com.
