No serviceman was admitted to the hospital in Sisian with gut poisoning. This is what Head of the Information Division of the Administrative-Organizational Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia, Colonel Samvel Asatryan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“No serviceman with intestinal infection, gut poisoning, as well as with a firearm injury was admitted to the garrison hospital of Zangezur (in Sisian) today and yesterday,” Colonel Asatryan said, adding that all the hospitals of the Armed Forces are performing their daily functions, that is, admitting and serving servicemen.

The presses spread news about a group of servicemen allegedly transferred to the hospital in Sisian after being poisoned from water or having been wounded as a result of the incident that took place with the Azerbaijanis in the direction of Ishkhanasar.

There was massive poisoning in Sisian. Over the past three days, there have been 296 cases of poisoning with symptoms characteristic of intestinal infections. It turned out that there was an accident in the water supply system of the settlement and citizens were poisoned from the water.
