Town buzzing with excitement as new business moves in

MAMMOTH SPRING, Ark. (KAIT) - Mammoth Spring residents will soon see a new place where they can buy groceries.

According to the Mammoth Spring Chamber of Commerce, the town will soon see a Dollar General.

Mayor Danny Busch explained the new business is exciting for the community.

“It’s going to be great for the community and city. Great for the area. We’re so glad to announce that they’re putting a store here,” the mayor explained.

Officials explained this has been a project the chamber and economic group have been working on for the last five years.

It will be located just south of Cotham’s Auction Barn on Highway 63.

The MSCC said dirt work has just begun on the project. No opening date has been released.

The building is located just outside of Mammoth Spring City Limits. Mayor Busch said the city was working to annex the land quickly.
