Alaska Airlines passenger groped woman ‘to arouse his sexual desire’ during flight

An Alaska Airlines passenger has pleaded guilty to groping a woman on a flight from San Diego to Seattle “to arouse his sexual desire.”

Desmond Bostick, 25, of Washington state, was in the aisle seat in the last row on the June 20, 2023, flight and the victim, whom he didn’t know, was in the middle seat, officials said.

The creep “repeatedly touched the woman on her thigh and grabbed her buttocks when she stood to allow the passenger in the window seat to exit the row,” the US Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Washington said in a statement.

“In the plea agreement, Bostick admits he touched the victim to arouse his sexual desire,” the release added.

The victim was “too scared to speak, but repeatedly, and unsuccessfully, attempted to shift her body away from Bostick,” court documents obtained by The Post state.

She reported the incident to the cabin crew after the plane landed and Bostick had left the airport, officials said.

An investigation was launched and a federal grand jury returned an indictment for abusive sexual contact on Sept. 23. Bostick was arrested by the FBI on Feb. 9, according to the statement.

He pleaded guilty April 11 in US District Court in Seattle to assault with intent to commit a felony, US Attorney Tessa Gorman announced.
