Fisher-Titus, 272 Benedict Ave. in Norwalk, is hosting an engaging cancer education and prevention event filled with valuable insights, expert tips and practical tools to live an overall healthier lifestyle, according to a news release.

The event “Building a Healthier Tomorrow: Prevention of Common Cancers,” takes place from 5-6 p.m., May 6, at the Fisher-Titus Jennings Auditorium, the release said.

Parking is available in Lot B off Benedict Avenue.

This free event is presented by Fisher-Titus’ oncology and hematology specialists, including Nancy L. Cloak, MD, and nurse practitioner Mary Demboske.

They will discuss how to prevent skin, colon, and lung cancers, emphasizing the importance of regular screenings, according to the release.
