It seems like taking a win off Max Verstappen requires some sort of sacrifice from a driver. It was first Carlos Sainz who won the Australian GP after appendicitis surgery, whereas Lando Norris took the Miami GP after his injury at a party in Amsterdam (yes, the bleeding nose). And now there might be a repeat of the injury as Norris accepts countryman Lewis Hamilton’s special request. But what is this request?

Not only Lando Norris but even Max Verstappen was invited to the party in Amsterdam by Martin Garrix, the party where Norris got the injury on his nose. And while the Dutchman dodged the injury, Norris’ sacrifice probably won him the race. Just kidding, not really; it was Verstappen’s lack of tire grip. When the initial photos of Norris’ injury surfaced, it looked like a bad injury but turned out to just be a small glass cut.

And now, after winning the Miami GP, Lando Norris has agreed to Lewis Hamilton’s proposal to go partying once again in the city of Miami. What a place to celebrate your first win! After the Miami GP, Lewis Hamilton was spotted congratulating Lando Norris, hugging him with a huge smile on his face, and exchanging a few words, probably about the party plans. And Hamilton has now come out and revealed his plans with Norris for the night.

Norris confirmed Hamilton’s proposal and has made changes to his flight out of Miami. And to celebrate his first win, the McLaren driver is ready to risk another cut on his nose as he says, “I’m not going to sleep! Might have more than just a scratch on my nose tomorrow. I don’t care. I’ll enjoy my time. This only happens once when you take your first win.” 

Hamilton has always wished McLaren and Norris would do well, and this win has made the 7X champ ecstatic. Let’s look at how he congratulated Norris for the first win.

Lando Norris and George Russell are the next generation of British drivers to lead the sport after Lewis Hamilton retires, and hence the 7X champ has a keen interest in their performances. After the race, Hamilton was spotted clapping for Norris from his car as he went past him after the chequered flag.

Later, Hamilton was spotted taking Norris into his arms as if he were proud of what his younger fellow countryman had achieved. He then talked about Norris’ win and suggested that he was super happy to see Norris on the top step of the podium.
