Avicii fans invited to contribute to children's mental health book by Tim Bergling Foundation
It's the second edition in an ongoing series which collects thoughts on what people need to feel good

Avicii fans are being invited to contribute to a new children's mental health book, set to be released by the Tim Bergling Foundation.
A campaign is underway to collate more than 1,000 messages of hope and resilience from people aged 25 and under. These thoughts, loosely focused on the theme of 'things that make us feel good', will then be collated into a new edition of the This Is What We Need - For A Better Day series.
A nod to the Avicii anthem 'For A Better Day', the ongoing book project aims to platform and amplify young voices within mental health conversations. The first instalment was presented to Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson in a bid to encourage more action to safeguard vulnerable people.
Fans who want to take part this time have several options. It's possible to share thoughts in person at three locations across Sweden — Sickla Köpcentrum, Forum Uppsala, and Mobilia Malmö. Alternatively, ideas and messages can be submitted online at forabetterday.se
The Tim Bergling Foundation is a major advocate of mental health services and interventions in Sweden. Established in 2019 following Avicii's death by suicide, the organisation is behind a number of high profile events and initiatives. Recent examples have included Dance For Life and last year's charity auction of personal items and music equipment used by the late artist.
In 2024, a photobook charting the late-artist's life went on sale. Last month, a new version of the single 'Forever Yours' was released. 'Tim’s 2016 Ibiza Version' was taken from Avicii's last ever live show, but quickly proved controversial when vocalist Sandro Cavazza announced she had not given approval for the release, and didn't want any of the songs she recorded with the producer to be made public.
