Czech medical team helping out in North Macedonia

A Czech medical team from the Central Military Hospital consisting of a burns surgeon, a traumatologist, an anesthesiologist, two nurses and a medical officer is helping in North Macedonia following a deadly nightclub fire in the town of Kočani that killed at least 59 people and injured 155.  The team arrived in the country at 2am on Monday and immediately joined the relief effort. The government approved the mission late on Sunday in response to a request for help from North Macedonia.
