The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has updated the risk level for popular potato chips that were recalled last month.
The Coyote Valley Sour Cream & Onion Chips were recalled, because the product contains a higher sodium amount than stated on the label.
The recall was initiated for more than 60,000 bags of the potato chips.
The products, which were sold in 5-ounce packages, have a UPC code 744234810775.
They were distributed to customers in three states, including Nevada, Texas and Ohio.
The FDA updated the classification of this recall to a Class II, which is a situation in which use of, or exposure to, a violative product may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences or where the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote.
