Ireland’s per-capita direct spending on cancer in 2023 came to €273, but more than €400 was spent in the top-ranking countries, according to a new report.
The direct costs varied widely across Europe, ranging from below €150 in Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Latvia and Romania, to over €400 in Germany and Switzerland.
