The New York Blood Center is always seeking donors of all blood types to help surgery and cancer patients, accident and crime victims and new mothers and babies. O-negative blood is extra valuable as it can be given to any patient.

• Flushing Letter Carriers-Branch 294 from 3:15 to 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday, April 9, in the banquet hall at 35-79 160 St. in Flushing; and
