During a working visit to Batken region, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov opened a new educational, medical and scientific complex of the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy named after I. Akhunbaev in the city of Batken and 15 social facilities across the country online.
Then the President announced the allocation of 1 billion soms for the construction of a football complex for the Batken City Hall from the State Stabilization Fund. This decision is aimed at supporting talented youth of the region and promoting a healthy lifestyle among the population. In addition, he emphasized that as part of the comprehensive development of the regional center, it is planned to build a new city in the coming years.
In his address to the residents of Batken, the President noted that not only they, but also the entire people of Kyrgyzstan are happy that on the eve of Nooruz holiday, symbolizing the spring equinox and the renewal of nature, issues regarding the country’s borders have been completely resolved.
He emphasized that the borders of Kyrgyzstan begin with Batken and any unrest in this region affects the entire country. The President expressed confidence that now, with the final clarification of the borders, this issue is closed. In addition, he assured that the state will not leave the residents of Batken, who are forced to move, without support. The authorities will undertake the construction of modern houses, creating comfortable living conditions for them.
From now on, the Kyrgyz-Tajik border will become the border of peace, security and good-neighborly cooperation. A peaceful life will reign in Batken, the people will find peace.

Within the framework of the National Development Program of Kyrgyzstan until 2026, a project for the construction of an educational, medical and scientific complex of the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy named after I. Akhunbaev was put forward for the implementation of the Concept of Regional Policy, and in 2022 the foundation for this complex was laid.
This modern medical center is equipped with a CT scanner, digital X-ray machine, ultrasound and endoscopic equipment. The clinic has a 76-bed hospital, a 96-bed dormitory and a modern conference hall for 160 people. At least 292 million soms were spent on the construction of the clinic, and 99 million soms — on medical equipment.
In addition, the head of state donated two ambulances to the region.
At the same time, 15 social facilities across the country were opened online with the participation of the President, including: six schools, four kindergartens, two Family Doctor Centers, one music school and two gyms. The schools have all the conditions for high-quality education of students, classrooms and laboratories are provided with special equipment and teaching materials.
Then Sadyr Japarov inspected the new building, got acquainted with the modern medical equipment installed in the institution, and talked with the staff of the educational, medical and scientific complex named after I. Akhunbaev.
