Prabowo to Inaugurate 31 Indonesian Ambassadors; Here's the Complete List

TEMPO.CO, JakartaPresident Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to inaugurate 31 Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia at the State Palace, Central Jakarta, on Monday, March 24, 2025. The designated ambassadors will represent Indonesia in various strategic regions around the world.

"The ambassadors are appointed to represent the country in various strategic regions of the world, as well as several international organizations," said Deputy of Protocol, Press, and Media Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat Yusuf Permana in an official statement on Monday.

The inauguration, Yusuf remarked, is part of the government’s commitment to bolster and enhance Indonesia’s diplomatic relations and cooperation with friendly countries in various parts of the world.

According to the Presidential Decree No. 108 of 2003 concerning the Organization of the Indonesia Representation Abroad, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary is a president-appointed state official responsible for representing and advocating for the interests of the nation, state, and government, as well as the personal representative of the Indonesian president in one or more host countries or international organizations.

The Indonesian Embassy and the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Indonesia, including diplomatic representatives, conduct diplomatic activities in the entire territory of the host country and/or international organizations to represent and advocate for the interests of the nation, state, and government.

The Indonesian ambassadors are also tasked with citizen protection abroad, as well as the protection of Indonesian legal entities in the host country and/or international organizations, through diplomatic means.

Here is the list of Indonesian ambassadors who will be inaugurated today:

  2. Siti Ruhaini Dzuhayatin as Ambassador to the Republic of Uzbekistan, concurrently the Republic of Kyrgyzstan
  3. Dicky Komar as Ambassador to the Republic of Lebanon
  4. Agus Priyono as Ambassador to the Republic of Suriname, concurrently the Cooperative Republic of Guyana
  5. Andreano Erwin as Ambassador to the Republic of Serbia, concurrently Montenegro
  6. Hersindaru Arwityo Ibnu Wiwoho Wahyutomo as Ambassador to the Republic of Finland, concurrently the Republic of Estonia
  7. Yayan Ganda Hayat Mulyana as Ambassador to the Kingdom of Sweden, concurrently the Republic of Latvia
  8. Fikry Cassidy as Ambassador to Bolivarian Venezuela, concurrently the Commonwealth of Dominica, Grenada, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and The Grenadines, and the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago
  9. Hendra Halim as Ambassador to the Republic of Panama, concurrently the Republic of Honduras, the Republic of Costa Rica, and the Republic of Nicaragua
  10. Tyas Baskoro Her Witjaksono Adji as Ambassador to the Republic of Kenya, concurrently the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Federal Republic of Somalia, the Republic of Uganda, United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), and United Nations Human Settlement Programme (UN-HABITAT)
  11. Mirza Nurhidayat as Ambassador to the Republic of Namibia, concurrently the Republic of Angola
  12. Ardian Wicaksono as Ambassador to the Republic of Senegal, concurrently the Republic of Cape Verde, the Republic of The Gambia, the Republic of Guinea-Bissau, the Republic of Mali, the Republic of Ivory Coast, and the Republic of Sierra Leone
  13. Siti Nugraha Mauludiah as Ambassador to the Kingdom of Denmark, concurrently the Republic of Lithuania
  14. Junimart Girsang as Ambassador to the Republic of Italy, concurrently the Republic of Malta, the Republic of San Marino, the Republic of Cyprus, Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), International Fund and Agriculture Development (IFAD), World Food Programme (WFP), and International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT)
  15. Cecep Herawan as Ambassador to the Republic of Korea
  16. Agung Cahaya Sumirat as Ambassador to the Republic of Cameroon, concurrently the Republic of Chad, the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, the Republic of Gabon, the Republic of Congo, and the Central African Republic
  17. Chandra Warsenanto Sukotjo as Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan
