TRAVIS Kelce and Patrick Mahomes are planning to open a restaurant together in Kansas City.
In March last year, the Chiefs teammates confirmed their new business venture.
The duo partnered with Las Vegas hospitality group Noble 33 to work on the project.
Mahomes and Kelce's restaurant is set to be called 1587 Prime - the number a combination of their Chiefs jerseys.
“Travis and I have become frequent visitors of Noble 33 restaurants in other cities so it only made sense to bring something special to our own community in Kansas City,” Mahomes said in a statement at the time.
The restaurant is set to be based out of Loews Kansas City, a downtown hotel.

It was thought that 1587 Prime would open in early 2025.
But that has so far not been the case.
The project still appears to be full steam ahead, however.
And Kelce and Mahomes have now even started recruiting.

A job advert has been posted on LinkedIn, with 1587 looking for an executive chef.
Detailing the job requirements, the post said that the successful candidate would be "responsible for the overall food quality of all food items.
It then added they would, "Train and oversee all back of house employees and areas, ensures company standards and may be responsible for seasonal specials and menu changes."
The advert also released some further details on the new restaurant.
It said that 1587 Prime would be "welcoming guests to indulge in an unparalleled culinary journey spanning nearly 10,000 square feet across two floors".
The post then went on to add that the restaurant "will boast multiple private dining rooms, a world-class chef’s kitchen, and a meat display."

Mocking the QB on the New Heights podcast, Travis' brother Jason Kelce asked, "He'll get a nice bone-in ribeye, cut it up and dip it in ketchup?"
"It's just what he does," Travis cheekily answered. "He's reeled back on it a lot from what I remember. But I've definitely seen that happen before."
