The recall was issued for about 1,350 Bebamour baby bath seats, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said on Thursday, April 10. The seats are unstable and can tip over while in use, violating federal safety regulations and posing a risk of serious injury or death.
The openings for a baby's legs are also too wide, allowing infants to slip out of the seats. The CPSC said no injuries have been reported, but the agency urged parents to stop using the seats immediately.
The seats are green, measure about 14 inches long, and feature four large suction cups and three bath toys. The front bar has a button that sprays water and star has designs on the seat.
The products were sold for $20 to $40 between May 2024 and February 2025 on Bebamour.com and Amazon.com. The seats made in China have the model number "T186."
Consumers should email Bebamour at amanda@babyleading.com to receive a refund and instructions on how to get rid of the product.
Customers must submit a photo of the destroyed seat to receive a full refund.
