The foreign trade turnover of Tajikistan amounted to $1.33 billion in the 1Q2018, the press office of the Statistics Agency under the President of Tajikistan stated on April 18.
According to the information, the figure is $258.5 million, or 33.3 percent more compared to the 1Q2017.
The republic exported goods worth just over $243 million in the 1Q2018. The import of goods for this period amounted to $790 million.
The trade balance was negative and amounted to $547.6 million. The republic had foreign trade relations with 90 countries.
The main trade partners of the country were Russia ($228 million), Kazakhstan ($204 million), China ($130 million), the United States ($108 million) and Turkey ($91 million).
